Gail has over 30 years’ experience as an administrator and office manager. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in history, politics and international affairs. Gail’s experience includes the roles of administrative assistant to Director of Nursing for a large Nursing Home complex in the Lake Macquarie area, personal assistant to an international food manufacturing company, office manager for various building and plant hire companies in the Newcastle area as well as providing business support services to Bowditch Group.
Allan has over 40 years’ experience as a professional civil engineer, comprising 28 years with Local Government Authorities in the Newcastle and Hunter Valley areas and over 12 years managing his professional consultancy business. Allan’s local government experience includes 23 years at Newcastle City Council where he progressed to various managerial positions in engineering design and construction of infrastructure projects followed by 5 years as Director of Works at Cessnock City Council. In May 2001 Allan established Bowditch Consulting Pty Ltd. As a professional consultant Allan has provided an extensive range of services to government and private sector clients in the fields of project development and management of major infrastructure projects, civil engineering, environmental planning and assessment. Allan has highly developed public presentation skills and is regularly called on by clients to deliver presentations to business and community stakeholders on specific projects.
Danielle has over 10 years’ experience working as an environmental scientist for NSW Roads and Maritime Services, various major highway construction companies and a multi-disciplinary consultancy firms. For 5 years Danielle performed the role of environmental site officer for Roads and Maritime for the construction of the Hunter Expressway and more recently she is currently performing a similar role for the upgrade of the Pacific Highway between the Oxley Highway and Kempsey. Prior to these engagements Danielle was an environmental site officer for Baulderstone on the Pacific Highway upgrade between Karuah and Bulahdelah and she performed a role as an environmental scientist with AECOM specialising in contaminated site management. Danielle has extensive experience in all facets of environmental monitoring, compliance, auditing and management.
Andrew has over 14 years’ experience working in state and local government agencies and also for private enterprises undertaking environmental assessments, developing and implementing environmental management systems and providing onsite construction management including participating as a member of multi-disciplinary alliance teams. Andrew has prepared Representations Reports and Preferred Activity Reports for major infrastructure projects such as the Hunter Expressway and Main Road 217 Five Islands duplication at Teralba. He has prepared Part 3A environmental assessments for projects such as the Inner West Busway along Victoria Road and the Hume Highway duplication – Sturt Highway to Tarcutta section. He has also prepared a substantial number of Part 5 Reviews of Environmental Factors (REF) for road, sewerage and electricity infrastructure projects. Andrew has developed and implemented environmental management systems (EMS) to ISO14001, undertaken environmental compliance audits and environmental performance measurement against KPIs. He has prepared and implemented Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP), issued specific environmental management plans and fulfilled the role of a Department of Planning and Infrastructure approved Environmental Representative. Andrew has extensive experience in all facets of environmental monitoring, compliance, reporting and management.
